Small Changes, Big Difference
You don’t have to make huge changes to get ahead; often small and simple actions are the best way forward when it comes to making sustainable and manageable change. Remember, even small changes to your financial habits can have a positive snowball effect. Save first, then Invest. The real power is in making your money work hard for you by investing wisely.
A few ways to save for your challenge:
- Skip that bought coffee – make one at home before you leave
- Pay bills on time to avoid late fees and charges
- Skip the gym for a few months & play sport or walk with a friend instead
- Avoid packaged vegetable and save 50% by bagging them yourself
- Look for specials on the bottom shelf of the supermarket
- Cook at home when you can to save a huge amount of money and get healthier at the same time
- Take your lunch to school and work by making an extra meal the night before or packing a simple cut lunch
- Dog or cat sit for friends
- Buy a re-usable water bottle
- Get an easy second job for a while
- Catch a bus instead of a taxi
